Inquiring minds are watching a YouTube video showing a restaurant was sued because its mirror is two inches too high.
This is complete insanity. At a bare minimum, before lawsuits of this nature can be required, it should be mandatory for there to be a complaint first.
Small businesses are getting crucified by this kind of nonsense regulation and regulation enforcement. Yet people wonder why business owners do not want to expand, and why new business formation is anemic.
Yes, this is just a small tip of the iceberg compared to health care mandates, prevailing wage laws, threats from unions, rising taxes courtesy of Obama and the Democrats, and a whole host of other insanities business owners have to face.
It all adds up.
The bottom line is businesses have no incentive to expand because of all those fears, so they don't. Nor should they. Nor for the most part will they.
